Programme
The activities of the cultural program are not included in the conference registration fee and are provided outside of the academic program. We have reserved Thursday afternoon (31/10/2019) for excursions.
For each tour, limited places are available. Please bear in mind that the excursions will only take place if there are enough participants.

Ascent to Monserrate
When looking up from any point of the city, it is impossible not to see Monserrate, at3,152 meters above sea level it watches over our city. Monserrate is the symbol par excellence of Bogotá, where you can find a panoramic view of the city and visit the Sanctuary of “Señor Caido de Monserrate”, millions of pilgrims and travelers have visited since its foundation in 1640.

City tour
The tour begins with a Panoramic tour through the historic «La Candelaria», at the center of Bogota. The tour includes a visit to The Gold Museum , which houses a collection of 34,000 pieces of pre-Colombian gold and more than 25,000 Pre-Colombian objects.
In Plaza Bolivar we will visit the Cathedral, Nariño House, Lievano Palace and the Palace of Justice.

Gastronomic Tour
Visit one of the most important and well organized markets of the city, «Paloquemao”. Here you will find a variety of Colombian fruits and experience a flavor journey from the north to the south of Colombia, finishing with a tropical fruit juice.

GraffiTour
The tour is led by a group of young people from the Egipto neighborhood in Bogotá. The guides are reformed criminals who
now want to show their transformation and positive influence on the processes of change in their environment.
The graffiti tour is a good way to understand the reality of many Bogotá neighborhoods and observe the resilience of the residents. Many of these areas and people have been marked by violence, but gradually violence is displaced by stories full of hope and longing
for a better life.
